To explore cyberspace can be an expensive thing. You need an internet provider, a phone line and so on. But what if you have access from school, work or somewhere else, and just want your own place without paying for it? There are several companies offering free email accounts, free homepages and much more. I have put together a few lists that might be helpful.
Actually they don't offer you a homepage - they just offer you the room for one! So you have to put together your own page with text, graphics and everything after your own choice. One way to get these things is surfing the net and saving whatever you like for your own use, but first: it takes time, and second: there might be copyright problems. Another way would be to check some of the links below, leading you to sites offering thousands of backgrounds, buttons, rulers, animated gifs, Java Applets and so on.
